Versatile Brewing

From freshly ground beans you can produce different beverages according to your taste: black coffee, Espresso, Americano, Ristretto coffee and, with a milk frothing/ steaming function, also cappuccinos and latte macchiato. Up to 8 drinks can be selected including ristretto coffee and espressos; and thanks to the addition of the stainless steel steam wand you can enjoy flat whites, cappuccinos, latte macchiato and more.

Milk froth

To obtain thick milk froth, fill a jug or cup with milk at refrigerator temperature ( approx. 5°C). Insert the steam wand about one centimetre below the surface of the milk and activate the steam function. Tilt the carafe slightly to create a gentle swirling effect. Proper frothing is achieved at 65°C.

Hot Chocolate Mocha Recipe

Hot chocolate mocha is a mouth-watering winter recipe that blends hot chocolate, the tang of espresso coffee and the delicacy of milk froth.
INGREDIENTS
  • 350 ml of milk
  • 90 g dark chocolate flakes
  • 25 - 30 ml shot of espresso coffee
Time required 15'

Procedure
  1. Fill the milk frother jug with 250 ml milk and the chocolate flakes.
  2. Close the lid and run the Hot Chocolate programme.
  3. When the hot chocolate is ready, pour it into a tall mug.
  4. While you wait for the froth to build up, brew a cup of espresso coffee using either a manual or automatic coffee machine and then add it to the mug.
  5. Re-fill the jug with the remaining milk and prepare a thick froth using the steam wand.
  6. When the froth is ready, delicately add it to the hot chocolate, taking care not to mix the liquids

For an even more delicious result, decorate with chocolate flakes to taste.
